In The Spotlight
Member Profile: Sis. Anne L. Collins

AnneCollinsOur member In The Spotlight for March2001 is Sis. Anne Livingston Collins. A native of Red Bay , FL, Sis. Collins, her sister Sylvia, and brothers Cedric, Tony, and Conrad (the children of Serriel and Barcelona Livingston) were 'reared up' in Flipper after the Livingstons moved to Tallahassee. Anne attended Bond Elementary and FAMU High before marrying Grady Collins, Jr. and taking up residence in St. Petersburg, FL where Anne was employed by the Department of Juvenile Justice for 28 years. The couple had two daughters, Michelle and Denise, before Anne and family returned to Tallahassee and Flipper in 1998. She is a member of Choir #2, the Mass Choir, the Lay Organization and the Missionary Society. Today, Sis. Collins is the proud grandmother of four little ones--Edward, Jonathon, Alexus, and Eliyah. All of whom participate within the Youth Church. Bless you Sis. Collins for your continued service and devotion to Flipper.

Youth Profile: Master Michael Hall

MichaelHallOur youth In The Spotlight this month is none other than Master Michael Hall. Younger son of Bro. Carl and Sis. Anne Hall and proud grandson of Bro. Sneed and Sis. Roberta Hall, all faithful members of Flipper, this active 6-year attends Pineview Elementary School where he spends halfdays in the first grade. Michael has a inner glow which shines ever so brightly outward as he aspires to be a Teacher, Doctor, and Lawyer. He likes to listen to classical music, read, write, and play with his gameboy. Pokemon is his favorite cartoon. Along with his big brother and best friend Carl, Jr., Michael actively participates in the Youth Church. He is a member of the YPD and Choir #3. Recently, Master Hall placed third in his particular age group at Black Heritage 2001 in Orlando where he recited "A Poem For Positive Thinkers" by Barbara Mahone in his own unique, very adorable style. Michael, thank you for spreading joy among us all with your wonderful bright smile and that contagious 'little-engine-that-could' perservance!
