Member Profile: Bro. Charles W. Lattimore, Jr.
Flipper Chapel certainly is proud to have amongst its membership this truly dynamic and gifted individual. Bro. Charles Wesley Lattimore Jr., a native of Orlando, Fl, is a senior theater major at Florida A&M University who, judging by determination and accomplishments of late, will undoubtedly leave his mark in the world of entertainment in the immediately future. A talented singer, gifted actor, and dedicated child of God, in March2000 Bro. Lattimore gained historic recognition when he was elected as the first ever 'Mr. FAMU!' The distinction is truly well worn. During his years on the Hill, Charles has been pegged repeatedly to participate in the FAMU Connection, the college's well-lauded touring musical review, and volunteers at the FAMU Developmental Resources School assisting instructors with second graders. A former president of his high school's Student Government Association, Charles is also quite proud of another one of his accomplishments--performing on stage with the legendary Patti LaBelle during a concert appearance in his hometown! Bless you Bro. Lattimore. As long as you continue to keep Him first in your life, your lofty aspirations are but a day away! | |
