Ralph L. Wilson
Presiding Elder, Tallahassee District

The Reverend Ralph L. Wilson is the 7th of 13 children born to Permom and Mamie Roberts Wilson. He and his late wife Justine were blessed with four children (Louis, Sonja, Kimberly, and Ralph II) before her death in 1974. Elder Wilson is now married to the former Sis. Joyce Wright and is currently blessed with 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Educated in the Leon County school system, he attended FAMU, the Univ. of Illinois, and the Florida Conference School of Religion. Rev. Wilson received his call to preach in 1961 and has served as pastor to numerous churches in various districts within the Florida Conference before his elevation to presiding elder of the Monticello-Madison District in 1986. Listed within Who's Who Among Black Americans, he is also, among many, a Freemason; a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, and a trustee of Edward Waters College.
