Incorporated in the previous week, AME Reinsurance was formulated to cover the insurance needs of the denomination and eventually internalize the Connection's insurance purchasing so that these funds can stay within the AME Church. [As announced by Elder Wilson during the 3rd Quarterly Conference, AME churches nation-wide are being encouraged to swich their coverage to this new entity once their current outside coverage expires.
